Aim
My problem is when I am using AIM and I want to change my buddy icon IE crashes. When I go to another website and click on the icon I want it crashes. This may not sound like a huge problem(which it is'nt) but its gettin me frustrated.

So dont change the Icon. (Humor)
This is more of a software or orperating system issue. You might try the windows forum that is appropriate. |

Try saving the icon, then using it manually through the AIM interface. That's not going to solve your problem, but it's a way to get around it.

from what i heard, using 5.5 has a bunch of spyware, don't know if its true or not

I don't think the program itself has any spyware but a lot of their plug-ins do. Aim Expressions and Wild Tangent (their games) are riddled with spyware.
