Norton Antivirus 2004 Pro

I have a problem during the installation of Norton antivirus 2004 pro trial, the installation stops after extracting the file instmsia.exe and display the error "Not enough memory", this is the trial version available for download.

Windows XP pro SP1
128 mb ram
1.3 AMD Duron

First of all, I'm presuming you're using Windows XP as your operating system. In that case, I would highly direcommend Norton Antivirus 2004 - if you can find NAV2003, that's quite better.

Also, what I think it means by not enough memory is the lack of resources - mostly RAM, it seems like. If you really want to use NAV2004, then expand the RAM to at least 348 - it should run a little more smoothly. NAV tends to take up a lot of sys resources.

Hope that helps,
kram

348 is a lot of ram for a minimal requirements, I'll see if I can Download the 2003 version. It reminds me to novell 6.5 minimal requirements 512 mb of ram that is a lot of ram, compared to the Windows server requirements.

Note: this installer doesn´t run in windows 98, then, why is it included in the list of supported OS? I think this is an adventage for the competence.
