Deleted files

is it possible to get back deleted video or mp3 files after they have been deleted. and if so how would i do this

Yes. First, do not write to the drive. This incudes web surfing, installing programs, etc.

This program can recover it if the file(s) haven't been overwritten yet: http://www.briggsoft.com/dsnoop.htm

Just go to location of where it was deleted with the program, click on the file, and hit unerase.

hmm the stuff i wanted was over written. how do you permanantly delete. will this save extra drive space too?

What do you mean? Once the file is emptyed from the recycle bin, the O/S sees it as deleted and fair game to be overwritten. Actually wiping the file from the drive will not free up space. It is know as "free space" by the O/S regardless.
