powerDVD not autostarting
all of the sudden PowerDVD does not automatically open a DVD with a Video_ts folder - it will play what is in the folder and the file relationship for .vob is set correctly - and so is the Video folder relationship. I did not install anything so I am at a loss why I lost the relationship and can not figure out how to get it to auto start. I do not have the powerDVD software with me at the moment - so I can install it once I get back to base - but anyone have any suggestions in the meantime ?

Open PowerDVD, rightclick on the PowerDVD screen, select Configuration and check "play disc automatically when inserted" (or similar. . it's the first checkbox there).

Wow - I didn't know all of that was there. Thanks.
The play disc automatically was checked - and what I am noticing is that when I put in a DVD a windows explorer window opens - and there are two programs for opening a DVD folder - wmplayer and powerdvd. When I chekced the folder advanced properties of wmplayer - I get "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe" /prefetch:4 /device VD "%L"and for PowerDVD I get "C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDVD\PowerDVD.exe" %1 I made PowerDVD the default and I still get the windows explorer window opening when I insert a DVD and shut the drawer. |
