Are you ripping a DVD with subtitles to DVD? You miight try DVD2SVCD or DVDx 2.2. Both might do it. I had difficulty ripping "Zatoichi Meets Yojimbo w/readable subtitles).

If you have a video capture, you might try hooking your DVD player to your computer and usiing Virtual VCR. That works.

All the aforementioned are free.

I am Ripping a DVD With Subtittles to VCD, I checked DVD2SVCD but I guess I can not create 2 VCD What I create is an image to burn a CD. I want to create two VCDs with permanent subtitles, and the highest quality video.

I usually use DVD2SVCD. It usually works and is going to work as good as its going to get with MPEG 1. But as I noted, I did have problems with the last one I tried to capture.

Doing with a video capture card and Virtual VCR gives excellent results. But then I have to convert the AVI files and then burn.

Payware called WinCopyDVD works pretty good. It got the subs I wanted. But it gets jerky at points trying to keep the video and audio sync.

you can only get so much quality from a vcd and it still be standard. If you want better quality then try making a SVCD.

I dont understand your question about 2 vcds... can you explain a little more? Is the program only giving you one cd for the whole movie and you want to have better quality, making the file bigger and put it on two cds?
