flickering menus/ screen (help)

when i put my clicker on start and the menu pops up, you can see the sites of the menu flicker a little, kinda of like a wave across the screen, or if i right click on the desktop and the little bar that comes up the mouse continues to flash on and away in a split second

I went to display properties and changed my color from 32bit to 16bit, and it fixed it for about a minute but then it came back anyone know what the problem is?

I would make sure that there is adequate cooling inside the case, so the graphics card is just not heating up. It might be corrupter card, though.

By the way, is this a crosspost/doublepost?
