Outlook Express Email Recovery
Hi, I have a damaged Outlook Express Inbox. It would have messages at least in OE4. OE5. and OE6. formats.
I have tried several programs and Easy Outlook Express Repair seems to have found the most for recovery. I wanted to know if anybody here has experience with the different programs and have recommendations befpre I shell out money. Also, I am over Outlook Express and its proprietery files such as DBX. What would be one of the best programs to use for emails? I do want something that I can save the current messages in (even if I have to convert the DBX files with one of the programs above.) Thanks, Terry |

Thanks, I used a free version of DBXtract years before and thought it was pretty good. I will try the new version.

Before you do that, try this:
Rename your inbox.dbx to inbox.old, then import the original inbox back in. Sometimes the import process will clean it up. So will the "compact folders" option. |
