Long ago, when I first started burning CD-R's, I had loads of problems with Roxio and switched to Nero which had no problems. When it came to a suite that would burn CD-R's and DVD-R's, Roxio receives very high ratings in the popular media, so I gave it a try and after installation came the first glitch. When I click the icon to start the program, it tries to "configure DAO" and the installer cannot finish that process since it cannot locate the file "DAO.msi" that it thinks is in a temp file. A thorough file search for it on my main drive as well as on the install CDs has no success. Anyone out there have a similar issue and know of a solution?

Yes, I know it's an old thread.... I had the same problem, but got it fixed by using raftero's tip found here:
