Copying CDs in DOS

Ok, while I'm here, stupid (and probably easy) question for you.
How would I copy an entire data CD to my HDD?
I need it to be an exact copy.
Appreciate it.

I belive that would be a file that is in dos.

I may be wrong here, but I don't think dos will support a cd-rw drive eather.
there would not be any burnning software in dos.

Any NON Win2k or XP machine will have xcopy.

If you're using win2k or XP you CAN'T be running NTFS and do this. If you're using Fat32 you can go to www.bootdisk.com and get a bootdisk and probably xcopy too.

dos can support cdrw drives as regular drives right out of the box. with some special software, you can even burn with them.
