You might try DVDShrink.

Yeah first you would want to use DVD Decryptor to put the DVD onto your hard disk. Since you will be playing it on your palm pilot, i would suggest converting the movie to mpeg-4 (either Xvid or DivX) with an audio bitrate of no more than 128 kbps. I would check out using AutoGK, which can be found here:

I really don't know anything but you'd have to get the resolution small in order to play a dvd on a palm or have a really big pda.

Once you use DVD decryptor on the dvd, you will have the vob files on your hard disk. Whenever u specify DVD decryptor to output the dvd is where the vob files will be. If you want to use AutoGK, you need to download it at Doom9.org and then once you install it all you have to do is browse to that same folder with the vob files and it should work! If not there is a great forum where they can help you out. Mpeg-4 is probably the best bet if you want to play it on a palm pilot. You might also want to limit the resolution to 320x240.

I use super dvd ripper. It starts off as a trial you can use it about 15 times and it quits until you purchase a key. But you can encode your dvd into AVI video files onto your computer and move them if you choose to and you can choose your aspect and size.
