I am hoping someone can help me with something. I am going to be throwing a party here soon and I want to play music with no interuption all night. That siad I was plannning to use my comp to play the music. What I was hoping was to get a program the can generate some sort of animation to go along with the music.

Windows Media Player 9 will do that. You can just set it to repeat and/or random play and it will play forever. Just make the visuallization full screen and you're good to go. Even better is the Plus! Party Mode that is part of the Plus! Digital Media edition. I have it and it would actually be nice for a party. Plus! is $20 though.

Pretty much any of the media players should do that for you. Whether you use WMP, Winamp, iTunes, etc.. My suggestion would be to check out a variety of media players, and see which one you like the best. I like iTunes, others like WMP, others like Winamp, and so on. Just try a few out, and see what hits you.

Whoa, and exactly how many threads did you wanna start with the same title? No offence there.

I use Winamp and there are a bunch of visualizations you can download for free.

Many players (iTunes player, WinAmp, Windows Media Player, MusicMatch Jukebox...) have visualizations that will move and change to the beat of your music. WinAmp has a huge third-party userbase, so I'd look there for something that will fit your needs.
