i need help with MSN Messenger
i have the newest version of msn messenger on my comp. but the problem is whenever someone signs on or i get an email no alert sound comes out does anyone know a fix to this problem

I'm guessing you've already looked through Messenger's settings. Next try Control Panel->Sounds->make sure "new message" notifaction is checked.

Msn Messenger->Tools->Options->General and tick the alerts.
