reformatting laptop
i'm going to reformat my sisters laptop because she wants to get rid of all the crap files/spyware/bugs etc. that have accumulated. Its a dell laptop and i have the recovery cd which i'll just use to reinstall the OS, drivers, and unfortunately all the crappy included software.
but my question is how would i wipe the harddrive first? can i use the recovery cd like the bootable windows installation cds? |

There's no need to do anything extra. Just stick in the restore CD and boot off of it. Nothing will be carried over to the fresh install.
