Israeli Air Force!

Hi.
This may seen kind of odd....

Is there anyway to run Janes IAF on my todays current PC specks.

I just installed IAF and updated to v 1.1 and it has minor probs.
Like missing menu text and and scrambled gfxs.
I already tried the Windows compatabilty options.

Im running FX 5600Xt
WIndows XP Pro.
512 pc 3200 DDR
Soundblaster Audigy 2
AMD XP 2400+
Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like you probably meet the game's minimum hardware requirements, but you may need to update your DirectX version or something. Also try upgrading your graphics card drivers. (often times the game will come with an FAQ that specifies what video card drivers the game was made for...that may be worth a look)

Well I got DX9b and the newest Nvidia drivers.. still no luck but a huge jump in gameplay wise...

I just need the game menu text to show up...

You mentioned that you used the 'Windows compatability options.' Just a question here, How old is this game that you are trying to play?

Could it be that the game is just not Windows XP compatable?

I assume that you have already tried running it in the 'Windows Compatability' modes, and of course running it as-is. If neither of these work, and there is no patch for it to make it work... Then I would think that you are out of luck, and this is just one of those titles that is not Windows XP compatable.

Yeah I tried that and still no luck.
I was able to run it with no probs on WIndows ME....

LOL.
Well I got the game running it all works out well.
