Good DVD software.
Hi, I was hoping some of you can tell me any good dvd software. I have a bunch of video files and I want to put it on a dvd so I can watch them in a DVD player. Do I have to convert the files first because Nero only accepts .vob and .ifo and so on.

Well, first you need DVD compliant MPEG files. So whatever video files you have, you need to convert them into DVD compliant MPEG files. Once you have them, you can use any authoring software to create the bup, ifo and vob files, which you can then burn.
There's a bunch of different authoring software around .. like DVDLab, TMPGEnc DVD Author, etc. Most of them have trials so you can download them and try of you like them. RJ

Any MPEG encoder. .. like ProCoder (Express), TMPGEnc, and CCE. Those 3 are actually the best.
