Protects your data from computer disasters

Norton Ghost™ 2003 protects your data from computer disasters. The intuitive Windows® interface makes it easy to create regular backups of your hard drive. You don't even need to make a boot disk. File restoration is simple from the comprehensive disk image.

For #3: One of the neatest features is that you can use it as a interactive backup program if you are using FATx (not NTFS). One you have an image, you can import / export files to the image. With NTFS, you can only export.

Ghost 2003 is used to either clone an existing drive or to restore a drive/partition to exactly as it was when the ghost file was made.

This saves the hassle of reinstalling the OS and programs. But as it restores exactly, if you save a virus you will restore one!

If you burn directly to CD, you will be well advised to verify those disks. The quickest transfer is from hard drive to hard drive.

I have my OS and Programs on C:\. This allows me to make a backup in less than five and restore in less than 3 minutes.

It takes care of a lot of problems.
