Question Norton 2004

I have heard that this software is kinda buggy and causes problems with some other programs. Is this true and if so, can you provide information about what the problems it produces are?

TIA

I'm using Nav 2004 Pro and I have not had any problems that others often talk about. I could be a lucky one, but who knows. On a side note, I don't find it a resouce hog like others say either.

It only causes problems when it's installed on XP.

I've had to clean a number of computers with 2004 installed, and they just do some of the strangest things.

Sorry, I guess I should have said that I am running it on XP. Again, I guess I'm just one of the very few that hasn't seen the problems. My system is very stable, all programs work fine.

I am currently running Norton Internet Security 2004 on two computers, XP Home and XP Pro. I've used Norton products for many years. To date, I've had one virus get through on one computer. (In at least 10 years)

I've never had a problem with Norton. I religiously install the updates, also scan with Spybot and Adaware every week.
