Unhappy activating windows

hi im not sure if this tread is in the right place or if it should be under the windows operating systems forums but if it does ill move it or delete it or whatever.

i just recently built my computer about 3 weeks or so ago had a couple problems with it and had to reformatt and reinstall windows but the problem is that every time i reinstalled everthing i activated windows again but now it says that the code i have has been activated to many times. What i want to know is if i call microsoft will the help me out by activating it anyway? Or will i have to buy a new copy of widows xp?

I think if you call them they will let you activate it.

Correct, if you've just changed hardware config's they will allow you to re-activate.
