Question word 97 print margins

word 97 has just been installed on the new laptop, and it prints with the margin at the top too small (about 1cm higher than specified) and the bottom of the page doesn't print.

on a new installl on the old laptop, (which had a clean install of XP on) it worked fine and printed correctly- so its not that the printer is unable to print as near to the bottom of the page as i want..

on the old one i installed the newest avaiable drivers for the printer from the canon website, but the new laptop it recognised it and installed itself through an new hardware wizard thing popping up itself. would that make any difference?. using excel on the new laptop it can print further down also.

so any suggestions?

Yes, the printer drivers can make a difference. I would get the latest drivers available.
