battlefield wont finish
my system just got back from getting its new mobo and vga. its flawless and quite fast. but thats not teh point.
while installing my games again, i couldnt get battlefield 1942 to install all the way. it'd get to 85% and stop there. saying that the file was not on the specified disk or whatnot. tried again. still no good. so i left it and went on to ut2k4. after ut2k4 installed, the system had to reboot. afterwards, i deleted the whole battlefield 1942 folder and tried to install again. still no luck. any1 have a fix? |

Have you checked the bottom of the disc to make sure there are no scratches or dust on it? Do you have another CD drive you could try installing it from?

no other drives and the cd looks good. its disc 2 so its hardly ever used. disc 1 is worse than disc 2 (not that i throw em like frisbees but...)
