WinRip questions
I installed WinRip (came with my Mobo) and have a couple questions.
1. When Encoding MP3s, is 256-bit enough? The default is 128. HDD space is not a problem. Should I go any higher on the bits? 2. Everytime I start windows, it automatically launches in the system tray. Can I turn this off? I can't find any preference options for it. If I turn it off in MSconfig, I get a notice everytime I start windows. |

im not sure on what to do on Question 2, since ive never used the proggy, but in terms of MP3 quality, you definitely want to stay at 128 kb/s and up. If you have the HDD space to go higher, and you are willing to wait a little more for the Rip process to complete, then you can try ripping a 320 Kb/s mp3. That will give you the best quality Mp3 sound.
