smokin America Online

Hello, I have a client who has this E machine,,,,I know pretty whimpy but gets what she wants done. She wants America on line taken off. About six months ago I did it for a friend but I can't remember how I did it. ( can I use I am a blonde excuse?) Well I tried,,,anyway my friend that told me how to do it won't be back for a month so I was hoping that someone might know, if I remember it detailed more than just going to add and remove to do it. I really like this site very interesting materials on here so looks like I found a place with a lot of intelligence on computers.
Thank you

Send a message via AIM to Panama Red
Just remove it using the Add/Remove Programs area of Control Panel. If multiple installations are shown, delete each one individually. Then delete any other AOL titled programs that show there. When you're done, use the Search function for anything else involving AOL. If AIM is installed, be careful you don't remove it.

Thumbs up

thank you for the response, I was not sure if I remembered but that is what I thought. I remember about the AIM at least! Well here I go to save another computer. E Machines are just to strange for me since they are limited in what you can do, and the fact that she can't download anything which I never heard of that before! I can't live without downloading. Again thank you both for the answers.

America Online

I was just wanting to make sure what the DUN is, I believe it is the TCP/IP? don't want to do something without being positive. It has been a long time since I messed with America Online. Thank you both for refreshing my brain.undefined
