Weird File
Hey all,
I noticed that there is a weird file residing in my C:\ directory. I believe this file was created after I installed Firefox .9 . Here are the specs of the file: File name: __IS6__.tmp File size: 800 bytes File Type: TMP file I scanned the file with AVG with the latest definitions and it appears that the file does not contain a virus. I am wondering if it's safe to delete this file? TIA |

I know that the TMP extension is for temp files , was probly dropped in default area while installing Firefox or something else. c:\delete *.tmp

What I like to do with files like that is move them to a temp directory and make sure everything runs fine for a few days, then delete it.

You can also just toss it in the recycle bin, just don't empty it.
