I am having trouble connecting to Microsoft Messenger 6.2. I don't use it that often but it would be nice for it to actually work when I do need it!
When I try to connect, it simply tries for ages but never connects. I have tried disabling my firewall, visited Microsofts support page and made sure that the correct settings are used, but still it makes no difference. I have also tried it with a different net passport but again no success. I am toying with the idea of formatting my PC as it used to work a while ago, I am just wondering as I have had several viruses since and loads of spyware, if maybe this has messed it up. Obviously I am no expert with PC's and when they start to play up I tend to format them if there is no easy fix. Anyone any ideas please? |

Are you blocking it with a firewall?
