My friend loads XP then after login computer restarts
He goes to restore from previously known "whatever" and he keeps getting restarts after XP login.
Hes changing out his Radeon 9800 with his 5600xt right now to see if his Radeon burned up. It all started when he was playing World of Warcraft and got a "Windows has put your video in software mode. Reboot to put it in hardware." UPDATE: Put in 5600 and windows loads fine. He got a message "System recovered from a serious error." I'm guessing its his Radeon... Where do you think he should send it, the manufacturer? He bought it from Newegg. Last edited by j0hn; 08-21-2004 at 06:31 PM. |

Another update: He sent error to Microsoft and they came back saying it was a "Video Driver Error"
I don't think he had beta for the 9800 not sure. |
