Virtual PC Thoughts
I just got Virtual PC 2004 for Windows, and I just thought I would share that this is one of THE MOST USEFUL applications I've come across in a LONG time. Forget dual booting. Forget partitioning. With an 80GB HDD I can have as many different operating systems as I want. Hell, I can even load a Linux kernel on there and have fast access to that if I need it. Here are just some of the features that I found very useful:
I just thought I would write this up in case anyone might have been interested in purchasing it, to know that you get your money's worth. The only caveat is that you must have the original OS discs, so it's not as if it comes with all different OSs pre-installed. Hope this might help! Below is a SS of how it looks when running (note: you can also run full screen mode as well) |

And another bonus that just occured to me is that if I ever needed to backup the HDD, I could just burn the .vhd file to a disc and move on. This is awesome!

Its a great program... I use it to test scripts and programs but I wouldnt consider running an OS installed on VPC becuase its still slow but for testing its great.
