Repeating mouse clicks

I am trying to do something in my favorite game Star Wars Galaxies so that i can just have the mouse continually clicking. The mouse doesnt even have to move just keep klicking. I have downloaded several mouse control programs and none of them have worked. They all move the mouse and click out of the game but when i get into the game the mouse will move but not click. I am running Win ME and also have a Microsoft Sidewinder which i can program to do mouse clicks, but have not yet found out if i can make the buttons on the sidewinder repeat( that would be nice as the sidewinder simulated mouse clicks do in fact work).

Anyway it seemed strange to me that the mouse control programs will not work in the game (worked on my sister comp and she is running WinXP)

anyone hae any ideas or experience with this type of issue?
