Powerdvd 5 Del. Upgrade for OEM - Needs retail version?
Well all my new toys arrived today, and all I have is a 2-speaker OEM version of Powerdvd 4, and so I paid and downloaded the upgrade for the OEM version of the Cyberlink website. All seemed good, untill I ran it, it claims "Unable to Install. Your system must have powerdvd 3.0 retail version or above installed. Setup will abort." I have the OEM version, the file I downloaded said it was for Powerdvd 4.0 XP OEM, why does it say I need the retail version? I can provide screenshots of the pages leading up to the order if you like, although all of them say it is for the OEM version, even there download manager says it is. A copy on CD will arrive eventualy, but as I go to school tomorrow I want to get it sorted out ASAP, is it there website, or the program malfunctioning? I have SP2 if that is important, any help/comments at all will be appricated.
TIA |
