Software I cant find anymore.

Hey.

I was looking the other day, on the mozilla website for an antivirus program that i thought they make... I couldnt find it. Am I going insane? Is there even an antivirus they make? If yes, can anyone direct me to it?

Thanks a lot.

Do you mean AVG, it's a great free antivius (but it's not made by Mozilla.) From what I know mozilla don't make an antivirus, or even a firewall. AVG is at www.grisoft.com

When it comes to free Anti-Virus software, I would go with the AVG. I have it on both of my machines and have been using it pretty much since I got on the internet. It has been very reliable and I feel it gives me just as much protection as the paid versions. You have to register it with AVG and they will send you a registration code that you need to input for it to install, but as I said, it's free to register and the updates are free.

The other thing that I noticed was that when I updated to SP2, the Windows Security Center actually found the AV and can tell when it needs to be updated. On my Dad's machine that has Norton, Windows Security Center didn't recognize it.

Have to agree with scomac on this one. AVG is a very reliable AV software I use it and I do not see any reason to complain about it.
