Unusual issue with WMP
I don't know if I'd actually call this a problem or not, I was just curious if anyone else has had this issue or not. I can use all the WMP visualizations with no problem, except when I try to put them into full screen mode. The only visualization that will work in full screen mode is the 'alchemy' visualization. When I click on the others and try to go into full screen mode, I get a box on my monitor saying 'sync. out of range'. I am running at an 85hz refresh rate with the latest monitor driver. When I change the refresh rate down to 60 or 70, all visualizations work fine when in full screen mode. I prefer the higher refresh rate since it seems to be easier on the eyes than the lower settings.
My question is, whether anyone else has noticed this or not. This was an issue when using WMP 10 beta, and it still is an issue with the final release of WMP 10. I didn't have the refresh rate set as high as I do now when I was running WMP 9, so I don't know if it would have been an issue with it or not.
My monitor resolution is set to 1024x768 with 32 bit color enabled.
