Creating New Identity in Outlook Express 6

I'm trying to create a new identity for Outlook Express 6. I need a separate email address for business(small). I've tried numerous times going through all of the steps as outlined, but no matter what address I give I always receive the test email I send to it back. It says this: reason: 550 5.1.1 unknown or illegal alias. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did this email account work before on this same system/ISP or is it an account from a different ISP?

My main identity works fine sending/receiving email. I tried sending a test message from my main identity to the one I set up for business and it was returned with the message listed above. I am using the same incoming and outgoing servers (I am using RoadRunner). Basically, I just want to set up a new business address so that my personal messages don't get mixed up with requests for services.

I'm with Comcast and get like six email addresses. I have to setup a new ID with them FIRST. Would imagine RoadRunner would be the same. Have you done that?

No. Do I have to call them(assuming it's the same as for your ISP)? Or do you know of another way to set this up?

Should be able to do it on-line at their web site in a couple of minutes.

Send a message via AIM to MrAustin
Go to www.rr.com and enter your ISP info (state, service, etc) and it will direct you to the appropriate page. Then click on the Help Icon at the top, then click on the RoadRunner Help icon. There, click on Account Management, login with your original username and password, and you can setup more email accounts.
