DVD/CD burning software
Hey guys
What program do you all reccomend for burning DVD and CDs? I just picked up a drive for all formats, and I would like a program that is relatively easy to use. Reliability is actually more important for me. I like Toast, but I don't think it's available for PC use. Let me know what you all use! |

I like Ulead's products. They have quite an assortment to choose from, like Movie Factory 2, which I like. I liked Studio 8's ease of use, but found it very slow and buggy; I hear version 9 is worse. Roxio 6 worked pretty good but haven't tried version 7, which is supposed to be a lot better. Nero 6 Ultra gives me nothing but problems in the DVD making department, but the "Recoder" app works just fine.
What I am using the most of now-a-days in TMPgen for very light editing (cutting out the commercials of a recorded TV show) then DVDlabs for authoring, then Nero Recoder for the burning. For serious editing I use Ulead's Media Studio Pro 7. HTH TwoRails |

I like Nero Burning ROM.
I am still using Nero Burning ROM 5.5.10.42, dunno if the bugs in Version 6 are fixed yet. RJ

Burn for free is a good program once you remove the spyware, I've had more success with it than I did with Nero, didn't like 6.0 at all, but I lost Nero after only a few months due to a reinstall and didn't keep my cd key.
Don't know what I was thinking. http://www.burn4free.com
