Need Ghost 2003 help Please

I normally burn a backup directly to CD-r / rw with no problems, but I am having trouble with my first burn attempt to DVD-R that I can't find help for at Symantec's site.

Attempting to make a restore DVD for a build I'm doing, I booted with a floppy and burned the image to the Lite On DVD burner. Ghost said the process was Sucsessful. When verifiing the burn, the first of two DVDs check out fine. When I inserted the second DVD as prompted, I got the following error:
Quote:
Invalid order of span file (497)
I reinsterted the 1st DVD and got:
Quote:
Not a valid span file
I viewed the DVDs in Windows and instead of seeing 2 files (one on each DVD) as I thought, there was a total of 6 files: 5 on DVD 1, and 1 on DVD 2. Since the files are 1 GB files, I can't even burn them to CD-R to test the backup that way.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong??

TIA

Try adjusting the size of the span files to less than 700mb so you *could* put them on CD's if you have to.

Bear with me as I'm so tired tonight I'm a little spacey. When I set up this build, using OEM System Works Pro 2003, I sure thought I saw an option somewhere to do just that, set the default span size. Now searching for it, I can't find it anywhere; neither in "Ghost Options" or from the Ghost menu.

This build will be leaving the state this weekend, and I'd sure like to get the DVD option to work if possible. If not, I guess I could set it up to use plain old CD-Rs.
