Bluetooth Software
Hi.
I've been thinking about Bluetooth, and the way that phones are hard to manage at home...and so i thought that there would be a market for a cordless home phone that works on the landline, that when you put a SIM card in picks up mobile phone calls when that number is called, and when you left range of your base station would revert to using the SIM as it's communication tool...if it exists it isn't available in Australia where technology is expensive and UNavailable (think Broadband...we're amazed by 256k...), and perhaps this could be done using Bluetooth (the sort that has the longer range). And so i thought a stop-gap to this product would be software for a Bluetooth ready PC/Laptop that picked up calls, working in much the same way as a Bluetooth headset, except with the ease of using the PC at the same time? Does this exist or am i getting too hopeful?...This has the benefit of convenience without looking like a total dork with a silly blue earpiece on you even when you arent recieving calls...It could also be incorporated with SMS tools, etc. etc.
