Is it safe?
Hi All,
Is it safe to send files through yahoo messenger? I just sent a file succesfully, but when I try the second file the recipient got an error " unable to receive file" . I also got this word "BUZZ" in red capital letters. Any ideas? Last edited by amigo; 09-23-2004 at 11:09 PM. |

Was the second attached file an executable (as in exe or com)?

Was it a large Excel file? Might try sending it as a zipped file. Maybe Yahoo just dropped the ball during the transfer. Have you tried to send it again?
As for the "BUZZ", not sure. Yahoo has what they call a Buzz Index, but I don't think that applies here. |

Maybe also check with the recipiant and see if he/she has their settings to allow file transfer?
