MSN Explorer pop-up
For some reason my MSN Explorer log in window constantly pops up on my lap top. I close it and it will stay off until I click onto something else. I guess I could remove it and reload it again... but it would be nice to know how to stop this and still be able to use MSN. My laptop is a Compaq with XP 2002 and I'm currently using MSN Explorer 9. Thanks

Those popups are probably the Windows Messenger and not MSN Messenger, which are 2 different programs. Uninstall the Windows Messenger in Control Panel under Add/Remove Windows components, and you should be ok.

Sorry TBow, but I just noticed you said MSN Explorer and not MSN messenger. My answer probably won't help you. Sorry.

Have you tried running Adaware and Spybot to make sure the problem isn't Spyware oriented? I'd try that first. Then maybe take a trip over to www.Trendmicro.com and do the free virus scan.

Control Panel, Internet Options, Connections. Set it to never dial a connection.
