Problem making DVD
I have my vob, ifo, and bup files (altogether make up 3.6 GB) and when I use Nero Burning ROM to create a DVD everything looks good and when it finally finishes it says the burn failed. The log file (the meaningful part) says:
12:20:32 PM #31 Text 0 File ThreadedTransfer.cpp, Line 228 all writers idle, stopping conversion 12:21:25 PM #32 Text 0 File WriterStatus.cpp, Line 113 <_NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A > start writing Lead-Out at LBA 1 (1h), lenght 0 blocks 12:21:26 PM #33 SCSI -1135 File Cdrdrv.cpp, Line 1411 SCSI Exec, HA 0, TA 1, LUN 0, buffer 0x04010000 Status: 0x04 (0x01, SCSI_ERR) HA-Status 0x00 (0x00, OK) TA-Status 0x02 (0x01, SCSI_TASTATUS_CHKCOND) Sense Key: 0x03 (KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR) Sense Code: 0x0C Sense Qual: 0x00 CDB Data: 0x2A 0x00 0x00 0x1B 0xE3 0xBF 0x00 0x00 0x01 0x00 0x00 0x00 Sense Data: 0x70 0x00 0x03 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x0A 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x0C 0x00 12:21:26 PM #34 CDR -1135 File Writer.cpp, Line 335 Write error 12:21:26 PM #35 Text 0 File ThreadedTransfer.cpp, Line 228 all writers idle, stopping conversion 12:21:26 PM #36 Text 0 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1703 Set remaining time: 0:00,000 (0ms) -> OK 12:21:26 PM #37 Text 0 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1703 Set remaining time: 0:00,000 (0ms) -> OK 12:21:26 PM #38 Phase 38 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1843 Burn process failed at 2.4x (3,312 KB/s) I'm really not sure what all that means. All I know is there's an error somewhere in the memory registers (have no idea why. This is the third DVD I've been trying to make and the previous 2 were successful) and it caused the whole thing to fail, wasting a DVD. Need help.

I don't know what that all means, either, but are you burning the disc as a data disk? If so, try using Nero's Recode.
