Download Accelerator Plus
A while back I downloaded Download Accelerator Plus and decided I didn't like it (Spyware). I uninstalled but still when I try to download anything now I get the DAP screen. I've searched the registry for it, searching with download accelerator, Speedbit, DAP and still get the screen. Any ideas?

Have you tried running Spybot and Ad-Aware on the machine? Those should be able to get rid of it. If not I found this article on uninstalling DAP: http://www.spyany.com/program/articl...ator_Plus.html

I don't have the answer merely an idea. Maybe, it's a browser plugin or Active X control you need to eliminate.

Oops!... Well, apparently I did find something but I forgot to reboot. This morning when I booted up nasty old DAP was gone. Thanks.
