Dictionary/Translation tool

Hey,

Does anyone know a good dictionary/translation tool software? I have Encarta Dictionary Tool 2002 on my laptop...but liscence is only for one computer, unfortunately - but something along those lines. I know Merriam Webster has a dictionary tool...but need a translation tool, like from Spanish to English, Spanish to French, etc.

Thanks,
kram

I know Dictionary.com has an online tool(Dictionary and Translator), along with Babblefish.com(Translator, maybe dictionary... forgot). I seem to remember downloadable things from Dictionary.com but not sure what, and I don't know about anytrhing from babblefish.

Don't use Babelfish, except perhaps as a guide... I've found it to not be particularly accurate in it's translations in the languages I speak.

dict.leo.org is good for English-German and vice versa translation.

When I need translation for my French homework I use Google's language tools, it translate quite a lot of languages, and I've never had any problems with accuracy, unfortunatly it is web based though, so might not be quite what you are looking for.

Babblefish has never been really good at translating...I've actually done a few translations back and forth of simple strings of sentences and it would give me back something very odd...syntax problems mostly, though. I just really want a tool I can place on my HDD - so I don't have to go online to use. Any suggestions?
