google question.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I will. When you type something in to search it gets saved. Over time the list gets very long. Is there any way to clear that dropdown list? Like the "typed urls" in the registry?

Send a message via AIM to juicelooser
What browser are you using? If you go through the settings, there should be something to clear the AutoComplete list.

If you want to delete only individual entries, double click on the seach box to open the complete list of former entries. Then use the down arrow key on the keyboard to select the one you want to delete, press the Delete key on the keyboard to delete it.

If you're using Internet Explorer and want to get rid of all entries on every page on which you've typed something, go to Tools>Internet Options>Content tab>AutoComplete button. Click the "Clear forms" button, click OK and OK.

google search history

old post and all, but for the record, clearing the google toolbar does not clear the google homepage dropdown.
