forum log on problems--HELP

Hi all,I have a log on problem with another forum I cannot fathom.
The problem started when I got rid of some spyware and ad related toolbars,the problem is as follows.

The forum in question was set as my home page,I can log on succesfully to the forum but when i click on a thread it says "error you are not logged in",it shows me as a guest and will not allow me to access any of the forum.When I click the back button It puts me back to the logged on page with me still logged on.It only happens on this one web site forum,I have deleted all cookies and temp files with no success,even system restore did not fix it.

I am on windows xp xp.

Assuming you are using IE........

Try a different browser, such as Firefox.
