DX 9.0c Install prob
hey guys,
i keep getting games that are running off the latest DX version (9.0c) and whenever i try to install it, this is the error i get: http://img7.exs.cx/img7/9721/error30.jpg after it shows that up, i press ok, and it just stops installing DX, it does continue the game install and it installs just fine and plays just fine. so far, the games work fine with what i got (9.0b) but i do want c... any ideas ? 10x, KoMoDo |

lol sry im digging this thread out of the dead but im still having this problem guys!
im getting my 5900xt next week, then ill try again, but i dont think that matters... any ideas guys ? 10x, KoMoDo |

Go into the properties of system (start > settings > control panel > system), go to the hardware tab, click on the "driver signature" button and set it to ignore.
Or just install SP2, it comes with DirectX 9.0c. RJ

10x alot RJ u fixed my problem !!! :-P
and, although im using my Gaming profile (followed blackviper.com's guide) i actually have had cryptographer disabled, but then when i fixed the ATAPI issue (which got me 21 more gb's :-P) it told me that it was disabled, so i enabled it.. so that wasnt the issue, but 10x to RJ, its working now :-P 10x so much! i ALWAYS saw driver signing when i went to device manager, but too lazy to check it, and i was always annoyed by that error. 10x again :-P KoMoDo |
