Wierd startup message

Hi im not sure where this goes, so if you're a mod feel free to move it.

When I startup my computer, I get this wierd message:

16 Bit MS_DOS Subsystem
C:\Windows\system32\command.com
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. This system file is not
suitable for running MS_DOES and Microsoft Windows applications.
Choose close to terminate the application.

anyone know what this means? I usually choose close and it works fine. It started about the same time I started getting a lot of popups again. I've been running Adaware, Spybot search and destroy, yahoo antispy, and Hijack This to try to stop the annoying popups, but they're still there. Anyone know if that error message has anything to do with it?

There have been several threads posted recently about this, please search the forums for "autoexec.nt".
