p2p program...

Is a peer to peer program illegal? Its like getting free stuff... 2 good 2 b true?

yes and no. it mainly depends on what you use the P2P for. if you use it to get pirated versions of programs like music, apps such as photoshop, then yes it is illegal. i think it is legal for other uses like obtaining demos, and other publicly released stuff that you would rather get from a home client rather then a clogged up server, it is legal (i think) i think the only fully legal P2P client right now is Shareaza. it is still illegal if you use it to get pirated stuff
