Altering Dates
OK, here's the deal:
I have a bet running with a friend, because I reckon it's possible to alter the creation, modification and accessed dates on files (such as Wordpad) which appear in the properties window. I said it'd be a matter of altering registries. He reckons it can't be done, it's in the programming. Who is right?? And if I am, how do you do it, so that I can prove him wrong and win my Vanilla Malt milk?? |

heck, there's an easier way. Just change the system clock to what you want to be displayed in the file attributes, open, modify or create the file, then change the clock back.

Thank you all for your prompt replies...
The one I was looking for was an actual way of altering it, so that program works a treat Dr Gonzo. I'll pour your share of the milk into an envelope and mail it to you
