Uninstalling a program & Removing items relevant to it
Sometimes, after completing the uninstall of a Program using the Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs i get the message :
''Uninstall completed. Some elements could not be removed. You should manually remove items related to the application.'' Q. What is the easiest way to locate these items that are related to the uninstalled program and get rid of them?

Here's my method. After the removal, reboot. Go to Start/search and look in all files and folders for the name of the just removed program, ie: Symantec and Norton, or Ahead and Nero. Delete all the files and folders found that directly relate to the program. Then I run a program called Registry Healer that fixes the registry. Corrects the shortcuts, etc.

Click on the Details button, it will tell you what was not able to be removed - reboot and delete them manually.
