What has happened?
Something strange has started happening. I have been using the Maxthon browser for a long time without any problems. Something very annoying has started happening and multiple reboots have not fixed it. The first time I open the browser after booting the PC it opens instantly. However, the Google Toolbar and the RoboForm toolbar are not there. I have to right click and select them. That has never happened before. Now, after closing the browser, if I try to open it again it will not work. That is, if I do not close it first. Confused? The "Maxthon.exe" process is still still running. If I end it the browser opens just fine. However, the Google Toolbar and RoboForm toolbar are not there again and the cycle starts again. Does anyone have any idea what would cause this? I have scanned with Adaware, Spybot, and AVG and got absolutely nothing on any of them.

Does anyone have any ideas????? I am going absolutely crazy!! I haven't been this frustrated in quite while. Now when I click on a link instead of opening a new tab it opens IE. The options window is completely blank. I cannot change any settings. I have COMPLETELY removed Maxthon and reinstalled it and I am still having the same problems. What on earth would cause the .exe to stay open using 35MB of RAM???? If anyone has any ideas at all please share. I am very irritated by this. Almost to the point of reinstalling Windows.

My problem has been solved. I went to the Maxthon forums and posted my problem. It turned out to be the Google toolbar. Appearently the new version causes major problems with Maxthon. The google toolbar also updates itself automatically. Something I did not know.
