PC Suite Software loading problem
I have no idea whther this is the correct place to post this query, but here goes.
I have just loaded XP on my laptop and am currently trying to reload all the software that I had on it prior to changing OS's. The software that I am having a problem loading is PC Suite for the Nokia 6600. It keeps giving me the following error message before closing down: Error Code: -5005 : 0x80070017 Error Information: >Kernel\KernelMedia.cpp (94) >SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (1594) pAPP:Nokia PVENDOR:Nokia PGUID:624499AB-179E-4659-9760-C1EB38BC212E $7.1.100.1248 @Windows XP Service Pack 1 (2600) IE 6.0.2800.1106 It loaded and worked on the previous windows version (98). Can anyone possibly help me try and rectify the problem. Regards CJ |

Might go to Nokia's web site and see if they have a version for XP.

Thanks.
I just find it frustrating that I now have to download the software from the site when it should be able to load directly from the disk. Will keep you updated as to whather it works or not |

Hi i'v installd pc suite on win xp pro for the 6600 and never had any problem with it.good luck :
