Wink one page printing

Hi Gang

Does any one know of a program you can use that will allow your printer to just print out the page that happens to be on the screen at the time? I use to have one, and some how with new hard drives/computers and such I have lost it. I did not use it all the time but it sure came in handy at times. I remember it was in my tool bar, if I remember right. And you just clicked on it and your printer just printed what was showing on your screen at the time. It was free at the time, I do remember that.

Thanks and take care.........Gunny......

You should be able to select "current page" in the printer setup (page range) - you don't need 3rd party software. This requires you to use the File - Print menu, not just hit the printer icon in the toolbar.

single page printing

Hi GLC

Thanks for the reply, long time no talk to. Any printer I have ever had always has the grayed out. That is the first thing I looked at. That is why I thought you had to have some other program to do this. I have an fairly new HP 7660, and that selection is grayed out. Now what????? As you say I would think this would be an option, cause there are times you don't want the whole darn 3 & 4 pages of stuff that is not pertaining to what you really want.

Thanks and take care............Gunny

Have you tried: highlite the area you want to print/right click/select print. When the print menu comes up, choose Selection instead of All.

one page printing

Hi Panama Red

That works. But I am wondering why they have current page there but it is grayed out. I thought maybe it was because of the duplexer on there, but I took it off and it did not change any thing.

Thanks for the great tip. When a suggested way works why question and worry about some thing that should but don't work, right.......

Thanks and take care.............Gunny
