Too vague.
Some CD's can be copied directly to the system and the programs can then be run without the use of a CD, certain programs intentionally block this behavior. We would need a better idea of what you are trying to do this with. |

Too vague no
all I want to do is run a car driving test hazard program from the HDD instead of the CDROM. Does anybody know how this can be done? MB |

As I said, it would depend on the program, you do not provide sufficient information to allow us to give you an accurate answer.
You can try this and it may or may not work depending on the program. Copy the CD to the hard drive, install the program from the copied directory on the hard drive, run the program. If it works you are in business, if not the program may have safe guards in place to prevent such activity. Without knowing the exact program your information is indeed too vague to give you an exact answer. |

You could make a disc image of the CD, keep that ISO on your HD, and then mount it as a virtual drive using something like Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%.

I can find no reference to that program online anywhere, who makes it?
You can try what I have suggested it may or may not work but you have little to lose by the attempt. bigandy your suggestion will not work with all programs, some of the newer programs specifcally block the use of such programs, the new RTW will not run if you have cloning software installed on your system. Since the program you are trying to do this with does not appear to be particularily mainstream then some of the more simple methods may bring you the desried results. |
